Message from Sarah Hassan

Sara Hassan is a dedicated and passionate teacher with five years of experience teaching Biology, STEM, and Medical Sciences up to A-level. She is driven by her enthusiasm for Biology and her commitment to nurturing young minds. Having completed a PGCE in Biology from King's College London, Sara possesses an excellent foundation in pedagogy and instructional strategies. She continues to seek professional development opportunities to ensure her methods are continuously refined. Sara Hassan encourages students to invest their time and best efforts by promoting curiosity as well as academic rigour; she delivers memorable and engaging lessons that stimulate inquisitiveness. Sara believes that her duty as a teacher is to create opportunities for all students to access the curriculum, thereby allowing students of all interests to develop the skills to become confident and independent learners. Beyond her role as a biology teacher, Sara actively participates in extracurricular activities and school initiatives. She has been involved in several educational trips, served as a mentor for trainee teachers, and collaborated with colleagues to create new curriculums and teaching materials. Outside of school, Sara enjoys reading, travelling, and new experiences which add to her growth as a well-rounded individual and interesting Biology teacher. Sara is thrilled to continue her journey as an educator, encouraging her students to become knowledgeable individuals who aim to make a positive impact on the world around them.

Message from Lucy Grier

Lucy Caitlin Grier graduated with a Bachelor of Education from the University of Edinburgh. Since then, Lucy Caitlin Grier has taught in Scotland, Spain, and has spent the last 4 years teaching in an English curriculum school in Dubai. She has gained a breadth of experience working with children from all over the world. Miss Lucy Grier has taught across a wide range of year groups from Foundation Stage 1 to Key Stage 2. In her previous schools, Lucy Caitlin Grier has joined the school in their founding year and has helped develop the curriculum and policies. Lucy Caitlin Grier describes herself as a positive and compassionate professional who is dedicated to meeting the needs of every child. She enjoys building relationships with parents and colleagues to support a whole community approach. In addition to this, Lucy Caitlin Grier has been involved in the Parent/Teachers Association and has coordinated the Dubai Well-being Census. Outside of the school, she enjoys taking part in sports such as golf and skiing. Dubai has provided Lucy Caitlin Grier with fantastic opportunities to travel, and she looks forward to exploring the city further and the new and exciting experiences Arcadia has to offer.
