Arcadia is more than just a school, it is an educational experience that brings learning to life, challenges our thinking and shapes creative and confident students into life-long learners. When my husband and I relocated to Dubai, we knew to find the right school for our daughters was going to be difficult. After viewing many schools and several recommendations from colleagues, we decided to enrol our girls at Arcadia. We couldn’t be happier with our decision.
The progress both our daughters has made academically while at Arcadia is notable, especially for our youngest daughter, Natalie. Natalie suffered a traumatic brain injury at age 5 and developed significant learning delays as a result. When Natalie started year 3 at Arcadia in October, she was unable to read or write and could not count past 20. Now 5 months on, she is reading entire books independently and writing short passages. Her math has improved, and she is counting well over 100. Natalie still has a way to go before she will be at grade level. However, since starting at Arcadia, I am hopeful that she will be there soon.
It's almost one month since Maya started at Arcadia. We wanted to share our feedback and thank you to all of you. We have seen a big change in Maya. We are extremely lucky to have chosen Arcadia. Maya is so happy with everything at school. Special credits go to Miss Welfare who made it easy for Maya to settle in. I have also updated Miss Welfare about our feedback and that we are appreciative for all her great support and effort that she puts in every day with the kids.
As parents, we have been absolutely delighted with the quality of education that our twins have received since they began their studies at Arcadia in September 2017.
The amazing facilities, the quality staff and innovative approach to teaching, as well as the clever use of technology, are just some of the elements that have given us absolute confidence that our children will be very well prepared to succeed in our ever-changing world.
And more importantly, our children love it!
But what truly stands out for us, is Arcadia’s nurturing environment and the overall sense that the school is one big family rather than a business. Honestly, we can’t recommend Arcadia enough!
Arcadia is a unique experience for everyone who goes there.
My daughter loves Arcadia Primary school. She started school one and a half year ago, without any English knowledge. Nowadays she stands alone on the stage in front of 100 students and speaks English confidently. Amazing teachers that genuinely care. A true community.
As a mom, I also love Arcadia Primary school because I don’t have to struggle with homework after school. Furthermore, we can also choose plenty of activities which are included in the curriculum. There is open communication between the school and the parents. Excellent learning environment.
As we approach end of the term, I wanted to share our feedback about Miss Manal.
We have seen a huge progress and improvement in Maya’s fluency in Arabic. Maya was never confident to speak or read Arabic . Her level was actually below acceptable for us. She was always shy and hesitant to speak the language.
This has changed big time now and we are so happy to see this happening. We do appreciate all the support and amazing wavy by Miss Manal to make the children love the language.
